           Patience Elett is an actress and vocalist from South Florida. From the beginning of her childhood and throughout adulthood, she has found joy from exploring the outdoors and musical improvisation. Patience first performed at the age of three at her church’s holiday service. She was seven years old when she sang her first vocal solo during a talent show on a cruise through Russia. 

 

           Ms. Elett was home-schooled until seventh grade, when she ventured into the performing arts through her middle school. She immediately joined chorus; her first musical was Grease, and her most recent musical was The Secret Garden, in which she played Fakir. Patience's two favorite roles so far are Fakir from The Secret Garden, and Linda from The Wedding Singer. Her favorite vocal performance was of Danza, Danza, Fanciulla during the morning service on Easter Sunday at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, Italy. 

 

          Ms. Elett was a member of the Select Choir and a founding member of The Academy Singers at Seacrest High School for 3 years as well as a member of the Chamber Choir at the Naples Philharmonic from 2011-2013.

 

         Patience began taking vocal lessons from Jean Seidel at age thirteen and continued studying under her for four and a half years. Ms. Elett is a member of the first class of Musical Theatre majors at Florida Southern College. She takes Musical Theatre voice lessons from Dr. Christianne Roll and Classical vocal lessons from Dr. Diane Stahl and Jenny Heidtman.

 

          Patience is a founding member and was the initial Secretary of Studio Box, Florida Southern College's first improvisation troupe. She has also performed The National Anthem at The National Swamp Buggy Races since 2013. At the 2015 Swamp Buggy Queen Scholarship Pageant, she and Barefoot Bobby Williams, a Swamp Buggy race driver and country artist, were the headliners of the evening.
